Dr.Wirthlin
was born and raised in Long Beach, California. He is married, has two children and has resided in Huntington Beach,CA for
thirty four years. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1971. Dr.Wirthlin returned to California
and opened his office in Westminster,CA in 1972. He has been active in the community for 30 years, lecturing at local colleges,
high schools and elementary schools about Chiropractic and providing free scoliosis testing. Dr. Wirthlin has been the guest
speaker for the Kiwanas, Elks and Long Beach Petroleum Club and Senior Citizen Organizations. Dr. Wirthlin has mentored many
students in pursuing a career in Chiropractic and continues to act as a pre-postceptor for several Chiropractic colleges.
Dr. Wirthlin continues to be a political advocate for patients rights and heads the Political Action Committee for the ICAC,ICA
and the ACA. He is an active outdoorsman enjoying golf, sailing, running, surfing and skiing. He is a twenty year member of
the Porsche Club of America and has restored and displayed several of his restored Porsches in local White Glove Concourse
events. Dr. Wirthlin has post graduate education in sports injuries and is both a QME (Qualifed Medical Evaluator)and IME
(Independent Medical Evaluator) for The California Workmans Compensation System and EDD (Emloyment Development Department).
He is certified in Palmer Specific, Bio-Mechanics, Pettibon, Gonstead and Thompson spinal adjusting techniques. Dr. Mike,
as many of his patients like to call him, has dedicated his life's work to helping his patients return to health through Chiropractic.
